Who Ya' Talkin To?
Join Charlotte Terrell from Gulfport Behavioral Health and explore healthy communication and self-talk. Communication is key in all of our daily interactions. We have all struggled to survive various challenges in our schools, our communities, in our homes, and society at large. The problem in most cases is due to the messages we transmit. There is a crisis in the way we communicate and the lack of effectiveness in how we do so. We have lost the art of good, old fashioned human connectivity, with the ability to cultivate authentic relationships that work. The breakdown in communication increases anxiety, depression, confusion, and conflict. It diminishes motivation, unity, trust, friendships, goal achievement, clarity, and our personal value. There is power in words and what we say does impact our lives. What are you saying? Who are you saying it to? I help people to create the world they want by discovering the power of impactful communication.
